Open Question: how can i get money for a car?

my mom promised me 1000$ for a car and backed out. i am 7 mo. pregnant and i only make 400$ a mo with my current job. i have to quit because my stomach muscles have separated and i could get a hernia from lifting the kids.... i will be 18 next month how can i make money for a car quickly? me and the father are still together, we have been together for 3 years. he is saving his $ for a car but we need our own so we can both work....
